New rumor regarding the next Nokia high-end flagship might surprise many of you. As per the Russian Nokia community Nokia Anew, HMD Global is currently testing under-display front camera in Nokia 9.2 PureView (aka Nokia 9.1 PureView). Earlier we reported that HMD has replaced the processor of Nokia 9.2 PureView from Snapdrogon 855/855+ to Snapdragon 865 & now this new info regarding the under-display front camera reveals that company is hearing what Nokia fans have expectations from them. Her’s a Tweet posted by Nokia Anew :

As you can see in the above Tweet the same source has also shared that the under-display front camera has a big problem. Because the area (location of front cam) is visible in the sun light and the image clarity is not 100% yet. Which means first HMD will find solution for this big problem then they will make it perfect & after that the device will be officially launched. This process will take some time so we can’t expect Nokia 9.2 PureView to launch at the MWC2020 this year.

What about the launch date ?

This device is expected to launch during Q4 of this year (Oct-Dec 2020). But remember that HMD is just testing under-display camera in Nokia 9.2 PureView & they didn’t have made its final prototype yet. Plans always changes so we have to wait until official announcement or at least until the final prototype leaks appear on the internet.

In the last few days you may have also seen (on other well known websites) some rumors regarding specs & pricing of the upcoming Nokia smartphones. But there was no evidence which can confirm it & also we thought that the news source (not the website but those who leaked it) wasn’t reliable so we didn’t published that. Now coming to the latest rumor by Nokia Anew, in the past they have already shared number of Nokia smartphones related news updates which later turned out to be true & that’s the reason we can trust on them.

Keep visiting for more news updates 🙂
