At first HMD announced the world’s first 5 camera smartphone Nokia 9 PureView at the MWC’19 event. Currently it’s available for purchase in many markets. Now as per the new rumor, HMD is currently working on 5G capable Nokia 9.1 PureView which will be the successor of current Nokia 9. According to sources from Nokiapoweruser, HMD is targeting 5G capable Nokia 9.1 PureView to announce in early Q4 2019. This flagship will have even better camera than Nokia 9 PureView. Because HMD is currently focusing on its Video & Low light camera performance. The source also claims that the camera speed will be improved with a better processor.

Here’s what the source actually said :

  • Coming to the top features of the smartphone, HMD will play the camera prowess to the hilt again depending upon Light camera technology to deliver the goods. But we can expect even better camera performance with a special focus on video and low-light performance. Camera speed has also been improved with a combination of better processor and software algorithm improvements with the help of Light. But the development team still is working on optimizations.

As this isn’t any official info the launch date provided in this rumor might be wrong & sometimes (It’s always for HMD) plans changes depending on the situation. However, we’re expecting this device to have Snapdragon 855 SoC & the design which can compete with industries leading players.
