Official : Nokia phones prices are silently hiked in India | Check new prices

Almost all Nokia smartphones & features phones prices are now silently hiked in India. Last month (March 2020) we reported that increased GST from 12% to 18% by Government of India could force HMD Global to hike prices of Nokia mobile phones in India. This rule was applicable from April 1, 2020. It’s April 2nd today and company didn’t have announced the expected price hike via any press release but if you visit the official Nokia website you will find out that almost all Nokia smartphones and feature phones prices are revised.

Let’s take an example from the above screenshot. Nokia 9 PureView was previously selling for Rs.49,999 but now it’s priced at Rs.52,677. After calculating roughly, we can say that HMD has hiked Nokia phones prices in India approximately by 5%.
