HMD’s CPO Juho Sarvikas announced that Nokia 9 PureView will get the new software update improving it’s Fingerprint scanner issues & much more. Recently Android Authority published their Nokia 9 PureView review, after using it for 7 days. The review was totally unxpected. They criticized HMD for the In-Display Fingerprint scanner issues.
As per the reviewer, interms of Design & Build quality the Nokia 9 is excellent. The review unit they received was running on a pre-release software for several days & later received the new update.

As per the reviewer, the In-Display Fingerprint scanner on Nokia 9 is the worst compared to the other smartphones he tested. Further he explains, their review unit was not recognizing the Fingerprint even after trying for half dozen of times. After this review, HMD’s CPO Juho Sarvikas commented on the issues while replying to Android Authority. In his tweet he says, With more users out there, we’ve seen a few camera crashes due to battery voltage drop when charge is low. We will address this & Under the display FP sensor has limitations. Further replying to another user Sarvikas again promised Nokia 9 PureView will get software update for FP issues but he didn’t announced any exact date.
