New Nokia smartphone codenamed Captain America with quad rear cameras is now leaked in hands-on pictures. Such type of few more leaks are highly expected in the next few days/weeks as the Nokia phones announcement at the MWC 2020 is almost 3 weeks away from now. As per Evan Blass or better known as Evleaks these leaked pictures may belongs to upcoming mid-range Nokia smartphone 5.2.
In terms of design this new Nokia phone looks similar to Nokia 2.3, 6.2 & 7.2 with its teardrop notch. While for branding our favourite Nokia logo is on the chin. At the time of announcement/marketing HMD may concentrate on the quad cameras of this new Nokia smartphone. Because until now we have seen Nokia smartphones with 1, 2, 3 & 5 cameras but this new phone will be the first to come up with 4.
If you look at the leaked image (headline photo) you can see 4 rear cameras in a circular module, LED flash is on the centre & fingerprint scanner is mounted just below of that. But something is missing there. Did you spot that ? Here we’re talking about the Zeiss Optics. Yes, there is no Zeiss logo on the rear cameras of Nokia Captain America. As this is just a prototype unit HMD may announce final variant of this device with Zeiss branding.
In a tweet shared by Evleaks he has revealed some important details regarding storage, price & release date of this new phone. The new Nokia Captain America is said to be coming with 6GB RAM & 64GB internal storage. Its price will be $180 USD (Approx. Rs.12800 INR).
HMD is expected to announce this device on February 23rd at MWC 2020 but Evleaks has mentioned its release date to be March 4th (May be it will be available for purchase/pre-order on March 4th).
Update (March 5th) : HMD was expected to unveil this device at MWC 2020 but due to global outbreak of coronavirus the whole event was cancelled. Now we’re expecting announcement of this device on March 19th.
Apart from this there isn’t any info which can reveal key specs & features of this new phone. But that info will be available in the coming days.
