We are pleased to announce that the Beta 5 Developer preview build is now available for sideload (V4.070). This release also includes the July 2019 Security Patch. At the moment we are only able to offer an upgrade from Android Q Beta 3 to Android Q Beta 5. An upgrade from Android 9 Pie to Android Q Beta 5 is in the works and will be released shortly, so stay tuned!
Please note, we are unable to offer the Android developer preview builds to devices in China, Russia, or to certain network providers.
The program currently supports models TA-1119, TA-1121 and TA-1128. To check your device is compatible, go to Settings > System > About Phone > Model & hardware.
If you’re using this mid-range Nokia 8.1 then you can expect the Android Q update for your phone in the upcoming months. We don’t know the exact time frame but surely Nokia 8.1 users will be one of the first to receive it
